Brilliant Proof 1870 J-888 Quarter Dollar Pattern1870 25C Standard Silver Quarter, Judd-888, Pollock-987, R.5, PR62 NGC. Standard Silver Design A: Liberty wears a cap with three stars as more fully described for Judd-696. A ribbon across Liberty's shoulder is inscribed LIBERTY. The denomination and date on the reverse are enclosed by a wreath of cotton and corn with STANDARD above. Struck in silver with a reeded edge. A pleasing Cameo proof with fully mirrored fields and brilliant silver surfaces. Only wispy gold toning can be seen.
