Patinated PR66 1870 Half Dime, Judd-8151870 H10C Half Dime, Judd-815, Pollock-904, Low R.7, PR66 NGC. William Barber's Seated Liberty design. She faces left, with a shield in her right hand and free-standing liberty pole behind. The reverse is the same design used to coin contemporary regular issue half dimes. Struck in silver with a reeded edge. The iridescent violet-blue and gold patina is especially attractive when tilted under a light. A crisply struck and well preserved rarity.
