A starless example of the popular Indian Princess design. Liberty is seated left and wears an Indian headdress. She supports a Liberty pole with her right hand while her left hand prevents a globe inscribed LIBERTY from rolling away. Two flags are behind her. The obverse is mated with a regular issue Seated Liberty Quarter reverse. Struck in copper with a reeded edge. A boldly struck near-Gem with rich ruby-red and orange colors. A tiny spot on a portion of the Y in LIBERTY serves as a pedigree marker. The dies are slightly rotated counterclockwise.(#71353) (PCGS# 71353)
