Gem Indian Princess Half Dime Struck in Copper, Judd-10691871 H10C Half Dime, Judd-1069, Pollock-1205, R.7, PR65 Brown NGC. A seated figure of Liberty facing left dominates the obverse. Liberty wears an Indian headdress and supports a pole with a pileus cap in her left (facing) hand. Her right (facing) hand rests on a globe over which a ribbon inscribed with LIBERTY is draped. An arc of thirteen stars hugs the border and the date is below. The reverse is the same that was used to coin business strike 1871 half dimes. Struck in copper with a reeded edge. Orange, rose, olive, and electric-blue colors invigorate this needle-sharp and exquisitely preserved Gem. The reverse has a few scattered, nearly microscopic toning flecks.(#61328) (PCGS# 61328)
