The obverse has a plain bust of Liberty facing left, wearing a coronet inscribed LIBERTY, her hair tied in a bun. Around are 13 stars with the date below. The reverse has a wreath with TRADE DOLLAR and the weight and fineness with IN GOD WE TRUST on a ribbon below, and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA around. Struck in silver with a reeded edge. This design is one of several trade dollars sold by the Mint to collectors in six piece sets. Bright silver surfaces on the obverse with faint champagne toning on the reverse. (PCGS# 388988)
