Location: Atlanta, GA
Description:
1875 20C Twenty Cents, Judd-1407, Pollock-1550, R.6, PR6 ANACS. The obverse is nearly identical to the adopted design, but LIBERTY is incused rather than raised as on the regular issue coins. The reverse is recognized as the popular 1/5 OF A DOLLAR design. Struck in silver with a plain edge. Even the incused feature could not spare LIBERTY from being obliterated on this unusual, heavily worn specimen. The circumstances surrounding this piece's extensive wear make for interesting speculation. (PCGS# 61714)

Needless to say I was overwhelmed by the results of the auction and I truly believe it was Jill’s efforts in promoting and displaying the piece that brought in the extra value.
