Choice Proof 1875 Judd-1411 Twenty Cent Pattern1875 20C Twenty Cents, Judd-1411, Pollock-1554, Low R.7, PR64 PCGS. Ex: Eliasberg. The obverse is similar to the regular design, although LIBERTY is incused on the shield, much like other Seated Liberty pieces, rather than raised as on the regular issue twenty cent coins. The reverse is also nearly identical to the regular issue, although the leaves in the branch are slightly different, and the stars between the legend and denomination are smaller. Struck in silver with a plain edge. This piece has original gray-brown surfaces with pale blue patina. We are pleased to present a selection of pieces from the famous Louis E. Eliasberg, Sr. Collection; coins that have been off the market for several decades, and not included in previous sales of the Eliasberg coins.
