Description:
1921 Peace Dollar, MS64+
Fantastic Color and Eye Appeal
1921 $1 MS64+ NGC. CAC. Ex: "Col." E.H.R. Green. The 1921 Peace dollar is a collector favorite as it was struck in high relief, the only silver dollar to have been so produced. A beautiful melange of medium-intensity violet, orange, yellow-gold, olive-green, and lavender toning adorns the lustrous surfaces of this high-end near-Gem. The centers are somewhat soft as typical for the issue, but this fails to diminish the fantastic eye appeal of this coin. Only 41 near-Gems are given a Plus grade by NGC (9/13).
Ex: "Colonel" E.H.R. Green; Green Estate; Partnership of Eric P. Newman / B.G. Johnson d.b.a. St. Louis Stamp & Coin Co.; Eric P. Newman @ $1.50; Eric P. Newman Numismatic Education Society.(Registry values: N991) (NGC ID# 2U4E, PCGS# 7356)
