Description:
1921 $1 MS65 PCGS. VAM-3, R.7. A Top 50 Variety. Five star desirability rating. One of the most desirable Peace Dollar varieties, a ray through the first L in DOLLAR has been hand engraved on the working die such that it passes over rather than under the L. This very rare variety, in this high grade, is probably irreplaceable. Well struck and satiny, with traces of dark-gray mottling near the obverse margins, and scattered minor contact marks on each side of the coin.
