Description:
Nearly Pristine Superb Gem 1924 Peace Dollar
1924 $1 MS67 NGC. The exceedingly bright, frosty luster that rolls across each side of this flashy Superb Gem is far superior to the typically dull or satiny luster evinced by the vast majority of surviving Peace dollars. The striking characteristics also seem above average on both sides of the piece, even allowing for very minor weakness on some of the lower reverse design elements. Essentially free of noticeable toning, the coin does exhibit a hint of lemon-yellow color in the obverse and reverse fields. As expected for the assigned grade level, this shimmering example is impressively preserved, and the surfaces are nearly pristine. One would be hard-pressed to locate a more pleasing representative of this Philadelphia Mint issue.
