1895 10C PR68 Cameo NGC....
1895 Cameo Barber Dime, PR681895 10C PR68 Cameo NGC. The 1895 proof dime is a key issue in the series, not only because of the low mintage of 880 proof pieces, but also due to the scarcity and low mintage of business strikes with only 690,000 pieces produced. As a result, there is additional date pressure on high-grade 1895 proofs. Pristine surfaces and boldly impressed design elements provide this PR68 Cameo example with tremendous eye appeal. A band of attractive toning, in rich shades of golden-orange, fuchsia, electric-blue, and teal, further enhances the appearance. A small piece of lint is housed within the holder to the left of the D in DIME as seen in the enlarged image. Census: 5 in 68 Cameo, 0 finer (3/13).
