Patinated PR68 1914 Dime
Lowest Proof Mintage of Type
1914 10C PR68 NGC. The present lot is one of only two 1914 dimes to attain the PR68 grade at NGC (12/11). The proof mintage reached a nadir for the series at 425 pieces. This specimen is fully struck and exhibits exquisite original toning with the deepest shades at the margins. The obverse is variegated apricot, powder-blue, and fire-red while the reverse is ruby-red with lesser amounts of autumn-gold and jade-green.(Registry values: N4719) (NGC ID# 23GV, PCGS# 4898)
