Sharply Struck 1914 Five Cent, PR671914 5C PR67 PCGS. CAC. The 1914 proof five cent, from a mintage of 1,275 pieces, is the date most frequently encountered among the 1913 to 1916 proof nickels. PCGS population data indicate that it can be located with patience and searching through the Premium Gem level of preservation. The population decreases significantly in PR67 and above. Soft champagne coloration bathes both sides of the present Superb Gem, each of which is sharply struck and nicely preserved. Housed in a prior generation holder.
