Elusive 1836 First Restrike Half Cent PR66 Brown

1836 1/2 C First Restrike, Reverse of 1836 PR66 Brown NGC. B-2, Unlisted in Cohen, Low R.6. About 20 specimens are believed to exist, although several of these are permanently impounded in museums. While receiving a brown color designation, this beautifully preserved, well mirrored specimen maintains a generous amount of cherry-red color in the protected areas of the obverse. Population: 2 in 66, 0 finer (8/04).(#1207) (Registry values: P3) (NGC ID# 223C, PCGS# 1207)
