Pleasing 1870 Gold Dollar, PR621870 G$1 PR62 NGC. Just 35 proof gold dollars were minted at the Philadelphia Mint in 1870, and the present light yellow-gold representative is one of only 15 to 20 survivors. The surfaces are lightly hairlined with a few original lint marks. This is a pleasing example, seldom seen in the market place.
