Description:
Rare 1864 Bronze No L Indian Cent, PR63 Brown
1864 1C Bronze No L Cent PR63 Brown PCGS. The proof production of the Bronze No L Indian cents is unknown; the Snow series Guide Book estimates 300, while the "regular" 2011 Guide Book estimates "150+." Either way, the issue sees enormous collector demand today from the many fans of the series. This piece exhibits some minor flecking over well-struck tan-brown surfaces, but there is a sizeable carbon spot near the reverse rim at 3 o'clock. Population: 5 in 63 Brown, 18 finer (8/10).
From The T.W. Brown Collection.(Registry values: N991) (NGC ID# 229F, PCGS# 2276)
