Splendid Two-Toned PR 64 1891 Eagle1891 PR 64 PCGS. Heavy mint frost on the devices creates a lovely two-toned contrast against the unfathomably deep mirrors in the fields. Upon close scrutiny, the fields show a few wispy hairlines and there are several tiny contact marks in the area of the chin and lower cheek of Liberty. Medium golden-orange color covers both sides. Overall, this is an appealing, high grade example from an impressively low mintage of 48 proofs. The numbers of survivors is estimated in the range of 15-18 pieces. (NGC ID# 28FW, PCGS# 8831)
