Description:
1890 Morgan Dollar, Fully Struck PR65 Cameo
Dazzling Brilliance, Sharply Contrasted
1890 $1 PR65 Cameo PCGS. CAC. Only 590 proof dollars were struck in 1890, and the unfortunate trend of soft strikes continued, a trait that began in 1888. This is not one of those softly struck proofs. All the definition is present that was engraved into the die over the ear of Liberty as well as the eagle's breast feathers. Each side shows dazzling brilliance with flashy mirrors in the fields and a strong presence of mint frost over the devices. Population: 9 in 65 Cameo, 12 finer (11/12).
