1869 Quarter, Multicolor PR66
Deeply Reflective Fields
1869 25C PR66 PCGS. CAC. Struck from the doubled obverse die, an unusual occurrence for a proof coin. Only 600 proofs were struck in 1869 and none are finer at PCGS (5/13). Both sides are splashed with rich, multicolored iridescence and the fields shine brightly through the layers of color. An impressive early With Motto proof quarter.(Registry values: P2) (NGC ID# 23X2, PCGS# 5568)
