Description:
Nicely Toned Superb Proof 1882 Quarter
1882 25C PR67 PCGS. Briggs 2-B. The deeply reflective fields sparkle under a moderate coating of natural cobalt-blue toning. The obverse is somewhat lighter with magenta-gray colors seen primarily at the central portion. All of the design features are well struck, and the surfaces are near-pristine overall. A few marks on the PCGS plastic holder should not be confused with surface problems on this specimen. An appealing Superb Gem example, carefully preserved with excellent eye appeal. Population: 9 in 67, 0 finer (3/04).
