Description:
Deeply Toned 1886 Seated Quarter
1886 25C PR65 PCGS. Since the business strike 1886 has the lowest mintage of any P-mint Seated Quarter, its proof counterpart boasts unflagging desirability among students of the series. The underlying surfaces are subdued by a thick coating of gray-golden and golden-red patina with sea-green accents visible as the coin is turned under a light.(#5587) (Registry values: P1) (NGC ID# 23XJ, PCGS# 5587)

The marketing was exceptional from the photos to the ads in Civil War Times and North South Trader for the cross over people!!! I have had many emails from my Civil War collecting fraternity that saw these and I saw them at the national show in Nashville/Franklin in early December.
