The near-Gem offered in the present lot displays rich apricot-gold patina that becomes a shade or two deeper around the rims and over portions of the reverse. Each side is awash in blazing luster, and the design elements are sharply struck throughout. A handful of unobtrusive marks does not detract in the least from the overall eye appeal of this lovely S-Mint specimen. Population: 5 in 64, 8 finer (9/05).
