Condition Census 1873-CC Seated Dime1873-CC 10C Arrows XF40 PCGS. Fortin-101. Medium to deep steel-gray patina. The fields are very smooth, with a few small nicks, while the devices remain sharply defined, for the grade. For example, LIBERTY and the shield lines are very bold. While not as desirable as the unique 1873-CC No Arrows Dime, the With Arrows issue is also exceedingly rare. PCGS and NGC combined have graded only a few dozen examples, all of which are under strong demand from Carson City specialists. An important survivor from an original mintage of just 18,791 pieces, most of which were lost to circulation. Population: 1 in 40, 2 finer (3/05).
