Description

Incredible Quality 1886-S Seated Dime, MS68 PCGS

1886-S 10C MS68 PCGS. A phenomenal coin that is graced by a ring of vibrant teal around most of the obverse and reverse, with russet-gold intermixed, bright silver is nevertheless, the dominate color. The strike is sharp and complete. Of course, the most important feature on this condition rarity is the condition itself, and here is where the present coin truly shines. Close examination will find one faint luster graze above the N of ONE within the central reverse field. Elsewhere the coin is as perfect as one could hope to find. One of the finest graded, and undoubtedly one of the finest in existence to represent this date. A coin which would be difficult not to linger over and enjoy for long periods of time. Population: 2 in 68, 0 finer (3/06).(Registry values: N1) (NGC ID# 23B4, PCGS# 4697)

The marketing was exceptional from the photos to the ads in Civil War Times and North South Trader for the cross over people!!! I have had many emails from my Civil War collecting fraternity that saw these and I saw them at the national show in Nashville/Franklin in early December.
