Description:
1846-O $1 AU53 NGC. The 1846-O Seated Liberty dollar was the first issue of the denomination ever produced at a branch mint, making it extremely popular with mintmark type collectors. This lightly circulated AU53 example displays well-detailed design elements, with just a touch of wear and only minor abrasions. The lustrous surfaces are enlivened by shades of champagne-gold and lavender toning. Census: 19 in 53, 63 finer (9/12).
