Lustrous MS62 1849 Seated Dollar
1849 $1 MS62 PCGS. Golden-brown, olive, and cream-gray toning blankets this moderately abraded No Motto dollar. The strike is solid, if not absolute on the left (facing) eagle's leg. An unimportant rim ding is noted at 5 o'clock. The 1849 has a mintage of just 62,600 pieces, and Mint State survivors are seldom available on the market. Population: 8 in 62, 31 finer (8/10).(Registry values: N2998) (NGC ID# 24YL, PCGS# 6936)
