Desirable 1849 Seated Dollar MS64
1849 $1 MS64 PCGS. Luminous peach, electric-blue, and mauve-violet colors enrich the obverse, while the reverse features tan and dove-gray patina. This satiny, originally toned near-Gem is carefully preserved. Not fully struck, but the eye appeal is irrefutable. The dies are rotated counterclockwise approximately 10 degrees. Only 62,600 pieces were struck. Population: 6 in 64, 2 finer (1/05).(#6936) (Registry values: N4719) (NGC ID# 24YL, PCGS# 6936)
