Description:
1860-O Seated Liberty Dollar, MS64
Conditionally Very Scarce at This Level
1860-O $1 MS64 NGC. The 1860-O Seated Liberty dollar claims a substantial mintage of 515,000 pieces, making the issue reasonably available in lower grades. However, high grade examples are elusive. This attractive Choice example is well-detailed in many areas, but some softness shows on Liberty's foot and the stars. Frosty mint luster shines through a pleasing patina of lavender-gray and pale gold. Census: 36 in 64, 11 finer (2/13).(Registry values: N2998) (NGC ID# 24Z3, PCGS# 6950)
