Description:
1869 $1 AU58 PCGS. Despite a substantial mintage of almost half a million coins, the 1869 Seated dollar is elusive in Mint State grades, with less than 100 so certified at PCGS and NGC. The next best option is this AU58 with its brilliant and untoned silver surfaces, reflective fields, trivial marks, and minimal high point wear. Population: 17 in 58, 41 finer (7/12).(Registry values: N991) (NGC ID# 24ZC, PCGS# 6962)
