Mintage of 3,150 Pieces
1872-CC $1 VF30 PCGS. Light chestnut patina overlies slate-gray surfaces. A problem-free midgrade example of this rare and desirable Carson City date, which has fewer survivors than any Morgan dollar business issue. There are no consequential marks. A scant 3,150 pieces were struck. Encased in a green label holder.(Registry values: N2998) (NGC ID# 24ZK, PCGS# 6969)
