Lively and Originally Toned, Superb Gem 1840 No Drapery Half Dime1840 H10C No Drapery MS67 PCGS. This example displays a phenomenal strike. Liberty's foot is fully defined, as are the facial features and star centers; excellent delineation is also noted on the reverse leaves. A medley of low intensity sea-green, orange-gold, crimson, and gray-blue graces lustrous surfaces that are immaculately preserved. A simply spectacular presentation of this beautiful, short-lived, and popular type. The No Drapery type was only struck in three years with a total of seven issues, four of which were struck in Philadelphia and three in New Orleans.
