1863 H10C MS66 PCGS. CAC....
1863 Half Dime, Highly Lustrous MS661863 H10C MS66 PCGS. CAC. Only 18,000 circulation strikes were produced, a mintage low enough to warrant the production of restrikes around 1870. The originals, such as this coin, show plainly doubled 18 digits in the date. This is a wonderfully lustrous example. The centers are almost brilliant with golden-brown toning around the margins, and the strike is strong throughout. Population: 14 in 66, 18 finer (5/12).(Registry values: N2998) (NGC ID# 234C, PCGS# 4382)
