1863 H10C MS67 PCGS....
Richly Toned MS67 1863 Half Dime Mintage of Only 18,000 Pieces1863 H10C MS67 PCGS. Deep copper, aqua, and midnight-gray patina shows on the obverse, obscuring the luster in places, but not enough to diminish the grade. The toning on the reverse is dark greenish-gold with a hint of blue, with brilliant luster showing. Boldly struck for this date and highly desirable, as a scant 18,000 pieces were coined for circulation, few of which can compare to this Superb Gem example. An opportunity for the date collector to put away one of the scarcer issues in the Seated half dime series. Population: 15 in 67, 3 finer (4/07).(Registry values: N1) (NGC ID# 234C, PCGS# 4382)
