Description:
1863 H10C MS 62 PCGS. Richly toned in crimson-champagne shades, the sharply struck surfaces are at the threshold of a Select grade. Half dime production at the Philadelphia Mint fell to a mere 18,000 business strikes in 1863, most of which were exported and later melted. (NGC ID# 234C, PCGS# 4382)
