Iridescently Toned 1867 Half Dime, MS66 NGC1867 H10C MS66 NGC. Moderately toned in violet and turquoise shades, with prominent die clashing surrounding the portrait on the obverse. The AL in HALF is not fully struck, but the devices are generally crisp. The fields are somewhat prooflike, which is not a surprise given the low mintage. A mere 8,000 business strikes were issued. Population: 12 in 66, 1 finer (3/04). (#4390) (Registry values: N2998) (NGC ID# 234L, PCGS# 4390)
