Attractively Toned 1841 Quarter, MS64 NGC
1841 25C MS64 NGC. This satiny near-Gem offers dusky intermingled tan and lavender patina. Well struck aside from a couple of right side stars, and the surfaces are only faintly abraded. The 1841 is one of many 'sleepers' within the Seated Quarter series. Only 120,000 pieces were struck, and Uncirculated survivors are rare in all grades. Population: 9 in 64, 2 finer (2/04).(#5399) (NGC ID# 23SK, PCGS# 5399)
