Description:
Conditionally Rare MS65 1843 Seated Quarter
1843 25C MS65 NGC. An impressive Gem example with sharp definition on all of the design elements, except for partial incompleteness on the first three obverse stars. The silver-gray centers yield to wisps of charcoal-gray and forest-green near the borders. The 1843 is known as a common date in circulated grades, but it becomes scare in Uncirculated condition and rare as a Gem. Census: 3 in 65, 1 finer (12/08). (Registry values: P3) (NGC ID# 23SR, PCGS# 5404)
