Description:
1853 25C Arrows and Rays MS62 NGC. Although the Arrows and Rays type was only produced for one year, collector demand for this issue is partially satisfied by the considerable mintage of 15.2 million pieces. Gold, gray, russet, and plum shades engulf both sides of this lovely example. The reverse displays a bold strike. A long linear planchet flaw appears within the rays above the eagle.(Registry values: P5) (NGC ID# 23U4, PCGS# 5426)
