Description:
1860-O Quarter, MS64
Notable Mint Luster
1860-O 25C MS64 NGC. The mintage for the 1860-O quarter was a hefty 388,000 pieces. Circulated and marginal Unc coins are readily available, but high-grade examples are rarely seen. This is a well, but not fully struck piece that has the usual frosted mint luster. There are few abrasions on either side to interrupt the appeal of this antebellum No Motto quarter. Census: 9 in 64, 3 finer (1/11).(Registry values: P5) (NGC ID# 23TR, PCGS# 5452)

Learn About Consigning With Us
What I most appreciated was how thorough you were when we initially met, how you were conservative in your estimates, not trying to get me to consign by giving false expectations, and then for delivering above and beyond on your commitment to me of a wonderful marketing campaign and a first rate catalog and photos, all of which resulted in a final total price realized that was nicely higher than what you had told me to expect.
