Description

Attractive Circulated 1870-CC Seated Liberty Quarter

1870-CC 25C VG 10 PCGS. Seldom are fully original and problem-free examples of this important issue available on the marketplace. This piece has attractive deep gray surfaces with lighter tan color on the devices. Aside from the usual tiny blemishes that are acquired during its service in circulation, the surfaces are exceptional. A faint scratch through the first S of STATES is the only mark that is worth noting, and even this characteristic is barely visible. Just 8,340 of these quarters were produced in 1870, alongside productions of half dollars, silver dollars, half eagles, eagles, and double eagles.
