1882 25C MS68 NGC....
Brilliant 1882 Seated Quarter, MS681882 25C MS68 NGC. The Seated Liberty silver quarters and half dollars of the late 1870s through the early 1890s saw extremely low mintages of business strikes in Philadelphia, the heyday of enormous Morgan dollar mintages when all of the nation's mints were awash in the shiny cartwheels. The 1882 quarters were struck to the extent of 15,200 business strikes plus a bit more than a thousand proofs. This Superb Gem circulation strike is brilliant and sharply struck throughout, displaying thick mint frost on the devices against slight field reflectivity. An almost-perfect specimen. Census: 5 in 68, 0 finer (10/11).(Registry values: P2) (NGC ID# 23VE, PCGS# 5514)
