1888 25C MS67 PCGS....
Astounding 1888 Quarter, MS671888 25C MS67 PCGS. The legally mandated production of an artificially high number of silver dollars had a negative effect on the mintage of minor silver coinage, and in 1888, Philadelphia struck just 10,001 business-strike quarters. This frosty and practically mark-free piece has untoned centers and a blend of rouge and orange toning at the margins. A touch of softness is noted at the obverse stars, but the central devices have strong detail.(Registry values: P1) (NGC ID# 23VL, PCGS# 5520)
