Description

Attractive 1918/7-S Quarter, MS62 NGC

1918/7-S 25C MS62 NGC. One of two Mint State 1918/7-S overdate Quarters that we are offering in this sale, this is an uncommonly attractive coin for the BU level of preservation. The surfaces have survived the passage of time without acquiring more than a few minor abrasions. In fact, minimally subdued luster is all that seems to bar the mostly satiny features from a Select rating. Typically struck over the focal points, both sides reveal mottled tan-brown and golden-russet iridescence as the coin turns under the light. A worthwhile opportunity to acquire an Uncirculated example of this rare overdate.
