Description

1920-S Quarter, MS65 Full Head
Frosty, Untoned Example

1920-S 25C MS65 Full Head PCGS. This gleaming, frosty, silver-white Gem Full Head 1920-S Standing Liberty quarter shows no trace of perceptible color otherwise, but the eye appeal is abundant throughout both sides. The head of Liberty is well-struck and far within the Full Head context, and other strike details are sharp save for a couple of faint rivets on the shield. The eagle's wing feathers are boldly detailed, but the breast is a bit soft. The overall eye appeal is quite high, especially for those who favor untoned coins. Population: 17 in 65 (1 in 65+) Full Head, 6 finer (4/13).(Registry values: N4719) (NGC ID# 243G, PCGS# 5739)
