Uncirculated N Reversed C. Bechtler Dollar(1837-42) G$1 C.Bechtler Dollar, N Reversed MS61 PCGS. K-4, R.4. The popular variety with the reversed and repunched N in ONE, Kagin-4 is available by the standards of Bechtler private gold coinage. However, the variety is unquestionably elusive in Uncirculated grades. An unmarked and moderately reflective piece with honey and apricot hues. Struck from lightly rusted and widely rotated dies. The die crack through the INA in CAROLINA is present; Kagin states "About 50% with [this] reverse die break." Listed on page 292 of the 2005 Guide Book. Population: 2 in 61, 6 finer (6/05).
