Description:
1861 $2 1/2 Clark, Gruber & Co. Quarter Eagle--Improperly Cleaned--NGC Details. AU. K-5, R.4. Wispy hairlines on the moderately bright fields confirm a past cleaning, but this pioneer gold coin is unmarked and minimally circulated.
