Description:
The Best PCGS-Certified 1941 Quarter
MS68, an Unmatched Trump
1941 25C MS68 PCGS Secure. CAC. Out of a mintage of more than 79 million pieces, only this example has received an MS68 grade from PCGS (11/12), a designation backed up by a CAC green label. Not only is the coin exquisitely preserved, it also has marvelous all-around visual appeal. Deep reddish-brown, orange, and gold outer patina gives way to intensely lustrous yet subtly frosted silver centers. Though the strike is not absolute -- perhaps the one quibble an absurdly picky collector might have with this gorgeous survivor -- features such as the tiny breast feathers on the eagle are visible.
