An always coveted sub-series within the broader emissions of the Spanish empire, the 'Royal' 8 Reales are renowned for the great difficulty to acquire. These special "Galano" issues were carefully made with prepared high-quality dies and flans, to be presented to the Spanish royalty and likely the King himself.
