Persian king or hero, wearing cidaris and candys, quiver over left shoulder, in kneeling-running stance right, transverse spear in right hand, bow forward in left; Φ / Λ behind / Wavy-patterned punch in incuse circle. Nicolet-Pierre 7 (same obverse die). BMC 3 (same obverse die). Cf. Carradice Type IV Late for prototype. A rare type splendidly struck on a mirror-like flan.
