1795 $1 Flowing Hair, Three Leaves, B-5, BB-27, R.1, Good 4 PCGS. Bowers Die State II. The crack from left stem to rim is just beginning to emerge. This splendid example completed a full tour of duty in commerce, well worn but attractive with deep gunmetal blue and gray toning in the fields and lighter gray on the devices for a terrific circulated cameo contrast. The portrait has some old impressions from dentils that could possibly be ancient bag marks. Small scattered abrasions are consistent with the grade, and the overall presentation is pleasing.
